Where is the Tangalooma Island Resort boundary?
Are you staying at Tangalooma Island Resort but don't have the minimum numbers they require for their wedding packages and you would like to get married outside of the resort? You will need to know where the Tangalooma Island Resort boundary is and how long it will take you to walk there?
Look no further, as Moreton Island Celebrant has mapped it all out for you!
To get married outside of Tangalooma Island Resort, you will need to leave the resort boundary.
There are three beautiful spots just outside of the resort boundary within easy walking distance:
1. "The Log" which symbolises the Tangalooma Island Resort North Boundary
The Tangalooma Island Resort North Boundary log is a 19-minute walk from where you arrive from Tangalooma Island Resort Ferry. An extra 12-minute walk will have you arriving at Tangalooma Wrecks.
2. Tangalooma Wrecks
The Tangalooma Wrecks has amazing photo opportunities with magnificent turquoise, blue and green waters full of sea life and makes for an amazing backdrop to your "I do's". The Tangalooma Wrecks are a 12-minute walk from the Tangalooma Island Resort boundary or a 31-minute walk from the Tangalooma Island Resort Ferry arrival.
3. Tangalooma Island Resort South Boundary
The Tangalooma Island Resort South Boundary is located approximately 300m (4-5 min) walk south of the boundary. This spot is usually really quiet and has gorgeous water views. What makes this spot special is the greenery as your backdrop opposed to the sand dune background. It is less busy because you don't have people travelling from the logs to the Tangalooma Wrecks. This spot is also the closest location to the ferry terminal and the hotel making it the perfect spot if you are visiting just for the day and would like to maximise your time on the island.
The day of your wedding is a special occasion that you want to cherish with the people who matter most. Tangalooma Island Resort offers beautiful wedding packages but there is a minimum amount of people required, and we also know there are many other beautiful places around Moreton Island where couples can get married in style.
