Have you ever had a great experience with a business and wanted to tell the world about it? Well, leaving a Google review is the perfect way to do just that! In this blog post, we will discuss six simple steps that will help you leave an accurate and positive review for any business.
First and foremost, you will need to have a Google account. If you do not have one, you can easily create one by visiting google.com and clicking on the “Sign In” button in the top right-hand corner. Once you have signed in to your account or created a new account, you can begin searching for the business that you would like to review.

1. Look for the business you want to review
Most businesses will give you the link to leave a Google Review. However, I personally search for the business online because I like to read all about them first. You can find the business on Google Maps or using the Google Search function. Once you have located the business, click on the “Write a Review” button.
2. Click on the three stacked lines in the top left corner of the main page
Now that you are on the review page, it is time to start writing your review!
3. Scroll down and click "Write a Review"

4. Choose your star rating
You can choose to add a star rating. Give the business a five-star rating if you had a positive experience!
5. Attach your pictures
Every business loves seeing pictures of their client's experience and every couple reading a business's review loves to see pictures too.
If you have any pictures that relate to your review, feel free to attach them. For example, if you are reviewing a celebrant, you could attach a picture of them and the couple, or your favourite ceremony photos.
6. Publish your review
Last but not least, click on the “Post” button to submit your review after a quick read through to make sure you've covered your experience. And that’s it! You have successfully left a Google review.
Did you know that you can also use Google Reviews to find businesses?
For example, let’s say you’re looking for a celebrant. You can simply search for “celebrants near me” and Google will provide you with a list of nearby celebrants, along with their star ratings, and you guessed it - their google reviews.
This is a great way to find businesses that come highly recommended by others.
So, the next time you have a great experience with a business, be sure to leave them a positive review on Google!
