Why not turn your engagement party into a surprise wedding? Your milestone birthday or housewarming…
If you are sending invites, be sure to include a little blurb to ensure that all your guests arrive on time. An example could be "entertainment you don't want to miss will start at 3.30pm" or "we have the biggest surprise for you at 2.30pm so please arrive by 2.00pm"…
And don't forget those interstate family members or guests - you might need to let a "few people" in on your secret or you could be sneaky and tell them you can't do this day without them…
